Abstract: Solid-state batteries (SSBs) offer improved safety and higher energy densities compared with those with organic liquid electrolytes. However, challenges such as lower ionic conductivity and interface instability hinder their commercialization. Ongoing research focused on hybrid electrolytes, interface optimization, and scalable manufacturing techniques is critical to addressing these issues and unlocking the full potential of SSBs.
