Abstract: Colloidal semiconductor nanocrystals have gained considerable attention to be used as light absorbing units in system for photocatalysis. Time-resolved spectroscopic techniques can give valuable insight into light-driven processes which are essential for the activity of the systems and learn about the connection between structure-dynamics-and function.
