Abstract: The catalytic reduction of CO2 to value-added products is considered essential for a sustainable chemical industry. Catalysts must generate the desired product while at the same time preventing its overreduction, which is a significant challenge. Since the product distribution depends on both the catalyst design and the reaction conditions, highly selective access of products on multiple reduction levels becomes possible by the appropriate choice of these control parameters.
