Abstract: Graphene is a unique nanomaterial with extraordinary properties and as a consequence it is expected that it will have many industrial applications in electronics, optoelectronics photonics and sensors/biosensors. It is the thinnest material known up to date with a thickness of 0.345nm. In addition, the electrons and holes move extremely fast (as if they were massless) in graphene and it has a very high thermal conductivity.
